PROJECTS
I have worked on various types of projects within my department of the Boeing Company & with DSHS. I have also created other websites for non-profit organizations, local clubs, small businesses and sports leagues.
Examples
CHURCH: Created and set up a local congregation's web site that also allows a member to log in and upload audio, sermon files at the same time to enter in information (title, speaker, description) into a database for members to search for such recordings. Here's one sample.
SPORTS: Set up and created a couple of Portland senior softball league & Vancouver senior softball web site which I customized as a Content Management System (CMS). It includes a contact form, dynamic team status (wins-losses), email routing, online registration which is stored in a database, login feature, league news, important alert banner at the top, scrolling marquee and a custom calendar.
CATERING: Created a web site for a catering business that serves parties, events and gatherings. Features include a dynamic menu item that can be updated even from a smart phone with specials and an option to update an item if it is no longer available along with a photo gallery.
SALE ITEMS: Created a web site for individuals to create an account and upload two images of items they wish to sell. A local project. Here's a sample.
ACTIVITY REPORTING: Set up internal web site to handle user's inputting of department's activity reports for summary of tasks that are stored in a database which can be searchable. An optional image upload is given to enhance the activity report description.
PATIENT TRACKING: Help create an internal patient tracking web site with the Dept. of Social Health Services with a database back end using Microsoft SQL Server. The site includes email notifications and routing, patient status, information and other content.
TOOLS DATABASE: Updated a tools tracking database web site to add an admin feature so the customer can maintain the tool's descriptions and content themselves without having to go through myself or another developer. Thus, helps save time and labor. It became a customized content management system (CMS).
